What We Are About

  3. To strive in controversy or debate; dispute 1

Much is at stake. Many live in brokenness, loneliness, darkness and shame.

There is hope. We know Hope; His name is Jesus. Jesus has come to give life and give it more abundantly. He has called His church to be His ambassadors in a broken world. We aren't to flee from the broken, but rather passionately pursue being His hands and feet. But . . . there are challenges, there are barriers. Mission isn't easy. Jesus promised that the enemy would fight against us. We are pressing against the very darkness that binds God's creation into slavery.

For the sake of the Gospel, for the sake of the broken, for the sake of those living in darkness we contend together to overcome barriers so the Hope of the Gospel may be known by all people.

So pull up at seat to the table, join the conversation, and share the challenges you and your church are experiencing. Help those who can gain from your experience. Learn from church leaders striving to engage their communities with Hope. Hear from those laboring to share faithfully in different cultures. Let's contend together - because God is worthy.
